enjoyes the obed river and the views
I don't hate catoosa but for a wildlife management area it is very poorly managed. A few feilds get a little and I do mean a little wheat planted for the dear and other animals every year. license are higher than ever but they are logging the state. We pay for it why is it being logged? Nobody knows where the money goes just saying beautiful place getting uglier every year just wish they would leave it alone and stop destroying it. I've talked to game wardens they don't want it logged either say it's the big shots in Nashville I remember when I was a kid the fields had corn Milo clover stuff the deer wanted planted in them every year. Now nothing what is the point in the millions of dollars in machinery they have if they can't even plant crops and all the state workers who do nothing but sit around and draw checks they need to fire the whole bunch and start over and get some people who will do somthing
;-) I live here. ..it's awesome! Plenty of wild life, the hunting is great. The people are quick to help in a time of need
I live in the middle of this beautiful wildlife refuge
I am a small game hunter. It would be nice if there were shooting lanes at this place for rabbit hunting.
